The Holiday Quote-Along Series Returns to Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas

December 14, 2017 | Written by Alicia Rohrbach - Senior Marketing and Sponsorship Coordinator

Are you tired of decking the halls, walking through endless light displays, and singing Christmas carols? Take a break from all of the old holiday traditions and start a new holiday tradition at the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas by seeing the Holiday Quote A-Long series!

That’s right – it’s back! Three quote-able holiday movies are featured this year: “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, “Elf”, and “Die Hard”. Take this opportunity to proudly display the absurd number of movie lines you have managed to memorize.

Wednesday, December 6 – 7:30 p.m. & 7:45 p.m.
Thursday, December 7 – 7:30 p.m & 7:45 p.m.

Escape your holiday preparations and see one of the Christmas classics this year! Get in the holiday spirit by recounting all your favorite lines including:

“I don’t know what to say, but its Christmas and we’re all in misery.”
“You couldn’t hear a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant.”
“Looks great. Little full, lotta sap.”

If your preparations are going well – this is your chance to take a break. If your preparations are going miserably – this is the perfect movie to remind you that it could be worse.

Wednesday, December 13 – 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, December 14 – 7:30 p.m.

It’s that time of year where I wonder if answering my office phone: “Buddy the Elf, what’s your favorite color?” is acceptable.

Since hitting the screen in 2003 – “Elf ” has become a new holiday classic. I mean – who doesn’t stop to watch it almost every time it’s on TV? If you say you don’t – I think you’re lying. Quote a-long to these memorable lines:

“He’s an angry elf.”
“I’m sorry I ruined your lives and crammed 11 cookies into the VCR.”

Don’t be a cotton-headed ninny-muggins – see “Elf” on the big screen again this season.

Wednesday, December 20 – 7:30 p.m.

Whether you agree or disagree that “Die Hard” is a Christmas movie (the answer is obviously yes) – don’t miss your chance to recite all your favorite lines this holiday season including:

John McClane: “Welcome to the party, pal.”
John McClane: “Come out to the coast, we’ll get together, have a few laughs…”
Hans Gruber: “I am going to count to three. There will not be a four.

Get your dose of Christmas movie and action movie in one by seeing “Die Hard” again!

Whether you’re enjoying the holiday season or your family is driving you nuts – come on out to the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas this December for a cinematic escape.
