“Yeah, I’m Kind of Afraid” is the answer to a question first posed in the year 1991 by a group of Canadian Teens calling themselves The Midnight Society. It is also a spooky comedy show based on the Nickelodeon TV show “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” Huddle around the camp-fire with us on Halloween night as we improvise and spin two horrifying and hilarious tales that will leave you both laughing and looking over your shoulder. Are You Afraid of the Dark? Yeah, we kinda are!
Justin Passino is an improviser and comedian currently residing in Bethlehem, PA. He performs regularly with his teams Staycation and The Great Old Ones. When he’s not doing comedy, he’s writing songs and over-watering his plants. One time he actually got through to Slime Time Live on Nickelodeon but the call dropped before he could play the game.
Tami Cantilina has one of those faces that seems familiar.You may have seen her on the improv team: Synced Up, the comedy variety show: Dear Diary, and wandering the aisles of Target, where she just ran in to grab a few things she needed. Tami spent countless hours as a child playing Figure It Out, using grass clippings in lieu of slime.
This show will contain adult language and/or situations. Seating will be assigned by ArtsQuest staff upon arrival into the showroom. Anyone coming in between the ages of 13 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No child 12 or under will be admitted.
