Take a walk in the shoes of a steelworker, learn how the blast furnaces worked and discover the untold stories of Bethlehem Steel during “Steelwalkers,” the walking tours presented by the Steelworkers’ Archives at SteelStacks. Tours will take place Saturdays and Sundays April 6-Dec. 22, 11:30 a.m., except for Oct. 19-20.

With Steelwalkers, guests discover what life was like working at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. from tour guides who worked at the plant for decades. The tours draw on guides’ firsthand experience of all aspects of the steelmaking process, including role of the PBNE Railroad, the Coke Works, Sintering Plant, Machine Shops, Scrap Prep, Power House, and Blast Furnaces. Tours begin at the Visitor Center at SteelStacks, 711 E. First St., Bethlehem.

Tickets are $15 per person and free for ages 12 and under. Steelwalkers tours begin at the Visitor Center at SteelStacks, 711 E. First St., Bethlehem.
