SteelStacks High School Jazz Band Showcase

The eighth annual SteelStacks High School Jazz Band Showcase will feature more than 20 bands and be held over five events in February and March at the Musikfest Cafe.
Tickets for the preliminary rounds are $7 plus fees and on sale at www.steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378. The showcase is presented by the law firm of King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul.
Scholastic jazz groups from Pennsylvania and New Jersey will perform in front of a live audience and a judging panel comprised of music educators. Preliminaries are set for 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10th and 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24th. Finals will be held on Sunday, March 17th at 4:00 p.m.
The competition is a music-in-education program of ArtsQuest and the Moravian College Music Department’s Jazz Studies Program.
