The tour starts in the main lobby, built in 1922 in the midst of the “Roaring 20s.” The Tap Room and 1741 on the Terrace feature oversized lighted ornaments and flying geese decorating the tree. Continue to the Mural Ballroom featuring nine 1936 murals of the founding of Bethlehem displayed above exquisite wreaths and trees. Take a stroll up the grand marble staircase to the mezzanine overlooking the lobby and the outstanding hand painted nativity scene reflecting the city’s Moravian heritage. Head to the Grand Ballroom to experience the festive wreaths, garland and another 15-foot Christmas tree to complement the opulent and historic space. Wrap up your tour in the lower lobby and hall of history featuring the Christmas Shoppe and Ladies Boutique.
