Enjoy a self-guided visit to experience the pristine beauty of an early American farm. Burnside Plantation was the original homestead of James Burnside, Moravian missionary and county representative, and was an integral part of the Moravian farming system. View the restored farmhouse, summer kitchen and bank barn at this historic site. You’ll be transported back to an era when time was measured by the clip-clop of a horse’s hoof and not the roar of an engine.
