Liz Russo is a native of Easton, PA., where she still resides, but is an internationally performing standup comedian who also happens to be a recovering alcoholic. On Wednesday, January 17th, 8pm, at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, Russo will hold a comedy show fundraiser in celebration of her 7-year sober anniversary and to raise much needed funds for addiction treatment. You don’t need to be in recovery to attend the show, just a willingness to laugh.

Proceeds from comedy show ticket sales will be donated to a nonprofit organization specializing in the treatment of alcoholism & drug dependency serving the local Lehigh Valley area.

Welcome headliner Craig Gass! Gass was born into a deaf family, as his mother, father and sister are completely without hearing. He mimicked the voices on television to learn how to speak. Gass gained early fame as a guest on The Howard Stern Show who became known for his impressions of various celebrities, including Sam Kinison, Christopher Walken, and Al Pacino. His appearances led to Gass landing an acting part on Sex and the City as Miranda’s donut-eating boyfriend and a co-starring spot on King of Queens. We congratulate Craig Gass on being 13 years clean and headlining our recovery comedy show!

Feature comic Jim Felter is a comedy writer and a regular performer at clubs in the upstate New York area such as the Funny Bone and The Comedy Works.

The comedy show will be hosted by Russo, who has been heard on SiriusXM and seen on FOX and CBS television networks. Russo regularly performs at comedy clubs, casinos, and festivals internationally. Russo was voted by readers of Lehigh Valley Style Magazine, the Best Comic of the Lehigh Valley 2016 and 2017.

This show will contain adult language and/or situations. Anyone coming in between the ages of 13 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No child 12 or under will be admitted.
