Animation Day

Animation Day at SteelStacks is a celebration of animation in film, both older and newer, while showcasing works of traditional and stop-motion animation with films by Wes Anderson, Hayao Miyzaki and René Laloux. Before each feature film, there will also be a short animated film as well.

We’re also excited to be partnering with Maciek Albrecht, the founder of Magik Animation Studios, who will be exhibiting his work at this event.

Animation Day will be separated into four blocks. Tickets for each film block are: $10.00 regular | $8.00 student & senior | $7.50 ArtsQuest Members

The Maciek Albrecht block is FREE.

Fantastic Mr. Fox

Block 2:
Artists Among Us with Maciek Albright
2:30 pm

Block 3:
Spirited Away
4:30 pm

Block 4:
Fantastic Planet
7:30 pm

At this event, there will be a selection of vendors including local artists displaying and selling their artwork. If you’re interested in being a vendor at Animation Day, please send your portfolio to cinema@artsquest.org. If approved, there is a flat fee of $25.00 for a table/space at the event. Payment must made be via cash or check (made out to ArtsQuest) and be sent or dropped off at the ArtsQuest Center located at:
