1810 Goundie House

Step into the studio of silversmith J. Carroll Tobias, whose studio was located in the basement of the Goundie House for decades. See photographs of his studio, peruse his sketches, marvel at the innovative jewelry he created, and learn about his unique connection to Mr. Goundie! In addition, see gilded Christmas trees inspired by different countries from around the world as part of the Trees of Historic Bethlehem exhibit. Each tree is beautifully decorated by volunteers from the Bethlehem Garden Club. Enjoy our annual tree display as a part of your family’s holiday tradition, or start a new tradition this year!
