The following is a list of the Christmas City volunteer positions available this holiday season.

Nov. 28-30, Dec. 4-7, 11-14 & 18-21
Spring & Main Streets
Most positions have the following two shifts (unless otherwise noted):
Thurs-Sat: 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. & 2:30-8 p.m.
Sun: 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. & 2:30-6:30 p.m.
Admissions: Greet guests and sell entry tickets.
Banana Factory Gallery Shoppe: Assist shoppers with merchandise purchases.
Craftspeople Assistant: (Nov. 28, Dec. 4, 11, 18 & 21 only) Assist arriving and departing craftspeople and help them feel welcome and comfortable. Indicate preference: clerical check-in or traffic control (unloading and carrying items to booths). All shifts are 9 a.m. - noon except Dec. 21: 6-9 p.m.
Hospitality - Retail Tent, Craft Tent: Assist craftspeople and vendors, may include booth sitting when craftspeople need a break. Keep areas neat and clean. Make sure garbage is emptied throughout the tents and in the courtyard area.
Greeter: Assist/greet guests at entrance and exit, take tickets, give information and hand stamp guests if returning. Volunteers in this position take turns outside the entrance checking parking passes, directing people to parking areas and directing bus traffic.
Information Booth: Provide information about Christkindlmarkt and all Christmas City holiday activities in Bethlehem.
Kindermarkt (Children’s Merchandise Area): Assist shoppers with merchandise purchases.
Merchandise: Assist shoppers with merchandise purchases in Retail Tent.
St. Nicholas Assistant: Assist with children’s visits and photos with St. Nicholas.
Setup: May include setting up tables and chairs, decorating inside and outside, preparing Kindermarkt/merchandise and sweeping. May involve some lifting.
Side Entrance Monitor: Controls entrances inside tents.
Takedown: May include removing decorations inside and outside, taking down booths, inventory and packing merchandise, sweeping, etc. May involve some lifting.
Trolley Host: Act as host/guide on trolleys. A script/route guide will be provided.
Shuttle Driver/Floater: Shuttle volunteers to and from parking area. Assist where assigned by site coordinator during non-driving times. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Shuttle driver shifts are as follows:
Thurs.-Sat.: 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. & 2-8 p.m.
Sun: 2 a.m.-2p.m. & 1:30-6:30 p.m.
Dec. 27-28: 12:30-4 p.m. & 5:30-9 p.m.
Dec. 4-6, Dec. 11-13, Dec. 20
All shifts are 1-4 p.m.
Concerts are held at Central Moravian Church, 73 W. Church St., Bethlehem, PA. All concerts begin at 2 p.m.
Greeters: Direct buses, welcome and inform guests of entrances, assist with loading buses after concert. Volunteers in this position will be outside prior to the concert.
Dec. 27 & 28
Performances held in the Main Tent of Christkindlmarkt. Performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Each day has 2 shifts: 1-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m.
Shuttle Driver/Floater: Shuttle volunteers to and from parking area. Assist where assigned by site coordinator during non-driving times. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Note: shuttle driver shifts are 12:30-4 p.m. & 5:30-9 p.m.
Ushers: Assist visitors with ticket taking, finding seats and exiting.
Dec. 31
There are three shifts: 12:30-5:50 p.m., 5-8:30 p.m. & 8-11:30 p.m.
Stage Personnel: Help with performer setup at selected venues. Times and locations vary.
Venue Assistant: Assist with greeting guests, checking buttons and selling buttons. Assistants are tentatively needed at the following locations:
